ECA

The Electrical Contractors Association (ECA) was founded in 1901 to speak on behalf of contractors who designed, installed, inspected and tested electrical installations. With more than 3,000 member-companies all involved in the electrical industry, employing more than 30,000 people and supporting more than 8,000 trainees, the ECA has positioned itself to provide focus on safety, training, qualifications, further development and overall industry performance.

Being a member of the ECA gives many benefits to not only the electrical contractor but also the consumer. Works completed by an ECA contractor are guaranteed under the ECA Guarantee of Work Scheme.

Members of the ECA are given extensive technical support across all sectors of the ECA.

They are also provided with ongoing training through webinars covering key topics such as electrical safety, domestic electrical installations, health and safety and the latest legislation.

Additional information about the ECA and how to find an approved member can be found at:

Mytradefinder encourages all its traders to become accredited with industry recognised associations such as the ECA. This helps raise standards, improve customer service and promotes best practice.
